Regular chimney sweeping prevents any build up of soot, creosote and other debris such as cobwebs. It helps with more efficient burning and reduces the risk of harmful gasses entering the home.
An annual sweep to comply with insurance policies is recommended and for your peace of mind certificates of sweep are issued for this purpose.
